Easter Sunday 2010

What a beautiful Sunday it was!

Family photos are getting harder to come by. With two wiggly little bodies it's almost impossible to get everyone looking at the camera at the same time. Noonie and Papa J joined us for Mass and man, was the church packed! Standing room only. Luckily we were able to squeeze some seats in the "cry room" section. The priest that married us officiated and what a great service it was! Thank you Jesus for paying the price for our sins so that we may have eternal life!

After Mass, we came home to let Grace & Hudson check out the goodies the Easter Bunny left them. It was so hard keeping those baskets hidden all week! I put them together last weekend and hid them in our closet for fear the chocolate would melt if I put them in the garage. The little pumpkin can be very sneaky so trying to keep her out of the closet all week - when one of her favorite things is to try on my shoes - was no small feat!

Goodies for the little pumpkin This horsey was my favorite. Read more about him HERE. I'm a big fan of vintage cards and was super excited when I found this one for Grace. And yes, I do write in them and save them in their scrapbook/baby book :) Goodies for my favorite little guy Every little one needs a traditional Peter Rabbit to enjoy! This softie made specially for babies is so cute! When I found this card I couldn't believe my luck! I love Humpty Dumpty and this card is THE sweetest vintage card ever!! I've never seen one like it and it was in pristine condition. The inside is just as cute! Time to dig into those baskets! To say she loved Emily the Pony is definitely an understatement. My drooly baby boy quickly got the hang of things. A carrot filled with puffs - yummy! A pink bunny pony! Intrigued by Humpty Dumpty Snack Time! Hey...I remember these from Valentine's Day! Quite possibly the cutest bunny ever! Love this sweet boy! Silly bunnies! One with mama......and one with Daddy! (I really need to figure out the self-timer!) After all that fun it was time to pack up the car and head to Memema & Aunt Marilyn's house for Easter Lunch. Of course, the day wouldn't be complete without looking for a few eggs! And this time the little pumpkin did not discriminate against any colors - WOW! :) Getting a little help from Noonie... ...and from Pop and Aunt Lexi too! Grandparents are the best! From our family to yours,
Happy Easter!

What fun pictures! Love all of the Easter goodies and espcially those sweet cards!!! I saw a pattern for little john-john's (not sure of that is the right term or not) and thought of your little guy and thought...hmmm...wouldn't those be cute to make and then hand embroider something on. Maybe I would be ok with a little guy someday!
