We couldn't let the
4th come and go without a little craft project! I saw this
fun idea and decided to give it a try.
Intrigued by her crazy painted hand.
Showing off the mess!
Who knew the cupcake holder made such a fabulous drying rack?! ;)
Checking out the "flag"...
"but Mama, it doesn't really look like our flag"Kids - gotta love them!
Admiring her handprintWe couldn't find any stars in our craft supplies so we'll have to add those after a trip to Michael's this week...maybe after that it will look more like a "flag" ;)

We made enough that I think we can make them into a garland of some sort - we'll see!
If not, they'll be cute at each place setting on our
4th of July table.
The messier the paint = the funner the craft!

What a fun idea!! Reese loved finger paints when she tried them for the first time....one thing I told people she would love for a bday gift (I might regret that..hehe)
LOVE Grace's outfit!!! Such fun. Sadly, I realized the other day Reese didn't have any red, white and blue for the 4th. But since Lee is working all weekend and neither family is doing anything, I guess it is ok...we decided to hang out at Soak City (a water park) all day :)
Bet the water park was a blast!!! Happy 4th!
