So I cornered my mom for the recipe & here it is!
Broccoli Cheese Cornbread
Ingredients
4 eggs
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8.5 ounce) package corn bread/muffin mix
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
Directions
1. In a bowl, combine eggs, butter, and salt.
2. Stir in cornbread mix just until blended.
3. Stir in the remaining ingredients (broccoli, cheese, onion).
4. Pour into a greased 11 x 7 x 2 inch baking pan.
5. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Slice & Serve Warm!

ReplyDeletePs...this is really random...but I think I remember your daughter was going to be a cupcake last year for halloween...did you get that from pottery barn? I saw it this year and thought about ordering it but its so expensive! Ive checked Ebay and they dont have her size :( Anyway I was going to look back through your blog to see if you posted pics!

ReplyDeleteHi, Candice~ Yes, Grace was a cupcake last year!! I LOVE that costume - so sweet (no pun intended!). It was a sell out last year so I see PBK brought it back this year for $59. The darn thing was $79 last year - yikes! What was I thinking??? At one point I remember them selling for like $100-$150 on ebay. Crazy!
