no ordinary pumpkins

One of our favorite fall traditions is going to see all the pumpkins and this year was no exception!

Ready to go check things out!And yes, for all of you that have asked me, here's proof that the littles DO wear things more than one time! HA!
{Actually I was so upset that Hudson's jack o' lantern jon jon that I ordered online Oct. 5th didn't come in until Oct. 23rd so we had to wear it a couple of times back to back since we only had 1 week before halloween!}

Grace declared this one Hudson's favorite. Hmmm...I wonder why? ;) LOVE these!! Getting a kick out of Miss Spider! This year we went later in the evening since I had a board meeting and didn't get home until later than usual. Thank goodness Noonie went with us so I could keep up with the little pumpkin in the HUGE crowd! Fly Fishin' A lift from Daddy = Happy Boy! One of my runner-up faves! So creative! Our attempt to have Hudson sit by a pumpkin... Grace was upset that she didn't see a Cinderella pumpkin like last year...but then she spotted Rapunzel and all was well with the world once again :) Don't you just love those "cheese" smiles??? My favorite one!!! Doesn't it look just like the wolf in Red Riding Hood??? LOVE! The little pumpkin and I both loved this one - so cute! The grand finale We had the BEST time!

I'm so sad that we didn't get a family pic :( Lance came straight from work and after he found us on the trail it was dark & C-R-O-W-D-E-D. Oh well, there's always next year!

So if you haven't carved your pumpkin yet (we haven't either!), how about painting it and turning it into a masterpiece! FUN!

Official countdown...1 day!

  3. Guess who-o-o-o entered the owl?! Haha. I made it 30 minutes before I had to work check-in. Amelia made the little duck near it, and Eric and Abram made the "Jack" from "Nightmare Before Christmas," just a couple down from it. We've promised ourselves to enter every year, and we finally did it!!!! Fun, fun!

    Laura~ I emailed you info! :)

    Cori~ you know as soon as we saw the owl I thought of Amelia's birthday and wondered if you guys had entered that one but I didn't see a tag. So, so, so cute!! And we saw the "Jack" one too! he, he, he

    Larissa~ I buy most of their smocked clothes locally since we're in the South and pretty much every children's boutique carries them, but this time I ordered Hudson's outfit through zulily.com, they have great prices but just FYI shipping is S-L-O-W so make sure if you order through them to allow about 3 weeks to get your item!
