Sadly, because of this, Mrs. C, one of the assistant teachers was transferred to another classroom. We were so very sad to see Mrs. C leave today. She has been such a ray of sunshine, loving the children with her quiet demeanor and great big heart.
The kids celebrated Mrs. C's birthday, which is tomorrow, with cupcakes and sweet cards.
We brought Mrs. C a little present to wish her well and thank her for being so sweet to Grace during these past 6 weeks. 
We will miss you, Mrs. C! 
...and the crazy bed-hair on the little pumpkin??? These pics were taken after nap time. Grace has been begging to try out the full day program, instead of leaving at noon so today we let her try it out for the first time and SHE LOVED IT! No more feeling like she's missing out on what her friends are doing :) ...but for me... Now I miss her even more!...including our usual Friday Lunch with Noonie! 
Hmmm...maybe we'll have to change it to Friday Ice Cream with Noonie...after school! :)

Yes Grace, friday's lunch without you is not the same. We are definitely going to start a new tradition of friday's after school ice cream parlor visit! I'm looking forward to the first one!
