ho ho ho, merry christmas!

We've been talking a lot about the true meaning of Christmas, about baby Jesus, about giving and sharing and spending time with loved ones...so I was really excited about the little pumpkin's field trip yesterday.

Before going to the mall to visit Santa and eat a pretzel at the store owned by one of the other parents, the kids in Grace's class went to Dollar Tree...to shop for gifts for the parents, how cute is that??!?
To keep the gifts a surprise, the kids were divided in groups that didn't include their mamas! I had the best time shopping with Kennedy, Emma, and Isabella - such sweet girls! These girls KNOW how to shop! he he he...and they knew just what they wanted to get for their mommies and daddies. And dads, let me tell you, I had to work really hard to sway them away from the PINK flashlights, so be thankful for your orange/green/silver ones :)

I couldn't resist sneaking a pic of the little pumpkin as she was making her selections...but just so you know I turned away before she made her final selection! :) Sweet girls waiting on the rest of their classmates to go pay for their treasures. Then it was time to head to the mall and enjoy a fun snack at Lovi's parents' pretzel store...YUM! What a fun treat - thank you!! No.more.pictures!
WE WANT PRETZELS!! Santa had the best voice and
"HO HO HO" I've ever heard and he was so sweet to read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the kids. No really, Santa, I've been very good this year...Nine sweet friends!
We missed you, McKinley!!
Feel better soon! Mrs. Bryan & Mrs. Peterson were so sweet to let the littles ride a couple of rides before loading up the bus and heading back to school!Daddy, this "LSU helicopter" is just for you!! ~ Grace

We love the wrapping paper you chose, Grace! And we love the sweet gifts you gave us!Thank you so much!!

Hi, Lesa~ I wish I could say I make her clothes, but I'm just a beginner sewer. My mom sews for Grace and she made the pants she's wearing in the pictures. The apron top came from Jam Clothing Co. on etsy :)
