happy birthday to some of my favorite people!

Yesterday was Lance's birthday and though it was a crazy busy day, we celebrated with Outback Steakhouse takeout and cheesecake (Lance's favorite) after Grace's ballet.

I joked with him the cheesecake was a sign of
true love since I don't like cheesecake at all and he's going to be out of town for work for the next couple of days so I'm not sure who's going to eat that gigantic pie! Want some, Noonie?
And yes, 3 yellow candles + 4 blue and green candles =
Happy 34th Birthday!!!

Today is my stepdad's birthday and though we don't get to see him today, we'll be sure to celebrate really soon!
Happy Birthday Papa J! We love you!

  3. Yea for birthdays! I found your blog from your birthday parties. I know you must be thinking I am one crazy lady. Believe me I am thinking I am crazy. I still can't get over how small a world this must be. I am not sure what came out of my mouth when I ran into you. My mind was spinning. I knew I must try to let you know what I was meaning to say... which was thank you for sharing your life! You inspire me to keep up doing fun things for my girls especially my little one. I do not have a blog because my husband is not on board with the idea. I do love party planning and kids crafts a ton. I follow lots of blogs for my unwind time. Yours is one of my top favorites because I totally relate to your real life. I still understand if you think I am totally crazy! I know if we were neighbors we would be great friends. Thank you for taking time to talk to us!

  4. Hi, Andrea!
I do not think you are crazy at all! It was so neat running into you and your beautiful girls - small world indeed! I can't believe how great your girls were doing even after 3 malls and a Target run...they were so sweet and well-mannered - what a fun Girls Day!! I'm afraid our post-afternoon at the park/pretzel eating selves might have been a sight to behold! Oh dear!

And yes, I think your little one and my Grace would be great friends if we lived closer...from what I can tell both have that certain combination of sassiness and sweetness to keep things fun! Tell her I think her saphire-clad "Pinky" is ADORABLY fashionable and cute. And later Grace told me again how much she loved her "shiny silver princess shoes" :)

Thank you for taking the time to stop and visit - what a fun surprise! You girls made my day!
