hop...hop...hop {easter treats & school parties}

This year I went with simple treats for both littles' school parties. I love how they turned out...simple but sweet.For Hudson's I simply put "bunny tails" {mini marshmallows} and three little bunny mallows in polka dot cello bags, printed a sweet picture of him {wallet sized on adhesive paper}, added a cutesy saying, tied it with a ribbon, and voila! I think these turned out so sweet and at just $5 for 12, very doable too! For Grace's party favors, I took advantage of the Scholastic book order forms we're always receiving. Back in February I ordered a couple of bundled packs to split between class gifts and easter baskets. I love to give books as gifts and at just about $1.25 per book, these were a steal! Add some pretty wrapping and a little photo tag......and you've got a fun, non-candy school gift! Of course we couldn't leave those sweet teachers out!

Hudson took little bunny pails full of decorated easter cookies to Mrs. Rebekah, Mrs. Brooke, & Mrs. Cheryl. (check out Hudson...the new puzzles set out for morning free play messed my picture op!)I've been trying to get the little pumpkin more involved in gift-giving, so I asked her what she wanted to give her teachers, thinking she might say she wanted to draw them pictures. Instead, she got all excited and said, "I know the perfect thing...DONUTS!" he he he

So on the way to school the morning of the party, we made a run by Krispy Kreme for some "hot light" donuts and oj (they do taste better when the hot light is on, don't they?), placed them in cute little containers, and she served Mrs. Bryan and Mrs. Peterson breakfast with a smile :)
Sorry my picture is so crummy...I took it in the car, with the little mini tray nestled inside our Easter baskets, but you get the idea...and yes after seeing the "crackly" donut in my viewfinder, I quickly replaced it with a new one! HA!

On to class parties...

Both littles had class parties back to back this week, which meant a lot of juggling. Luckily Noonie came to the rescue so Lance and I could attend both parties. Thank you, Noonie! Hudson's was first. He was so excited to run all over the place carrying his basket and finding eggs.
It looked like it was about to pour down for Grace's egg hunt, so they moved it to the auditorium - still...lots of fun! Hope you all have a blessed Easter weekend!
