I reorganized my baking supplies and found all kinds of fun cupcake liners & toppers...apparently I have quite the obsession for polka dot liners since I found 15 different types, yes 15!So I enlisted the help of my two favorite baking assistants... {some like licking the batter the best} And together we made...Beach Cupcakes for the little pumpkin's themed week at school!Nevermind the "ocean blue" frosting and brown "sand" sprinkles I had in mind...Grace insisted they had to be "pinkerrific" so strawberry frosting and confetti it was.

Thank you for all the Disney and Sea World suggestions to my last post!
Anyone from Memphis? Lance & I will be there in the next couple of weeks and I'd love some "must see" or "must do" tips!
I love that you have a baking stash :) And I love that it is full of polka dots even more :) Love the "pink" cupcakes!!!
ReplyDeleteMemphis was the first trip Thomas and I took together. Of course, we went to Graceland. Beale Street was fun (like Bourbon Street but much cleaner). We want to go back one day. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI lived near Memphis for 7 years. If you have the kiddies with you, I would recommend a trip to the Botanic Garden (awesome play area for the kids), Mud Island (if they're open due to the flooding), eating some BBQ (most people hit Rendezvous, but I would recommend Central BBQ). If you like chicken, Gus' fried chicken is the best I've ever had in my life. There's a cute little town just east of Memphis called Collierville and they have the sweetest little town square with lots of fun shops. If you're there over the weekend, they have bluegrass music on Friday nights right on the square. Have fun!
