home grown

This past Thursday, Grace's class took a field trip to Julien's family's farm. Best kind of learning if you ask me! I was sad I couldn't go, but Noonie went and took Hudson so he could play with Julien's little brother. Oh my, they had the best time! Both littles are still talking about all the fun stuff they did at the farm!Although she now stays home with her three sweet boys, Julien's mom is an experienced science teacher and oh my, she has the neatest ideas and super fun experiments. I love these toilet paper roll binoculars!!Identifying bark and all kinds of other things in nature...They gathered sticks and learned how to tie different kinds of knots...They went on a nature walk......and found all kinds of tracks! But I think my favorite are these "pizza ovens"!!!Such a fun & creative way to teach all about solar energy!!All that activity had these little tummies hUnGRy!All work, no play??No way! ;)Such a fun day all the way around!ThANk YoU, Angela & Robert!!!...and thank you Noonie for taking all these fun pics!!
