mother's day brunch {2012}

Yesterday, Grace's teacher, Mrs. Bryan, hosted the annual Mother's Day Brunch for all of us preschool mamas. Remembering {last year's brunch} I was a little better prepared this time...yes, waterproof mascara!

Grace was so excited to give me this one...she kept hinting about it all week, saying it was a present I couldn't open, "but that's all I'm going to tell you because it's a surprise - not a secret 'cause secrets are not good - but a surprise." I love it, Grace!

I thought this arrangement was so beautiful and so sweet...sent to Mrs. Bryan by one of her sons who lives far away and couldn't be here for Mother's Day this year...

After the brunch, all of us moms went to the classroom while the littles went to one of the enrichment classrooms. Mrs. Bryan had a photo video of all the children and the fun activities and field trips they had taken this year. Tear jerker for sure!

Even more so than last year because last year I knew we still had the K-4 year in this great program, but this year it was bittersweet...amazing to see our littles growing up right before our very eyes through the photos, and yet sad to leave such amazing teachers. We feel blessed that Grace has had the opportunity to be a part of this preschool program for the past two years. THANK YOU Mrs. Bryan and Mrs. Peterson!! We couldn't have asked for more caring, nurturing preschool teachers. You guys are the BEST!
