Last weekend, the little pumpkin danced in her third recital! I skipped out on being a backstage mom this year and boy, was it nice to just enjoy the show - ha!!
This year she was in a ballet/tap/jazz combo class for slightly older girls. She was the youngest in the group but she was able to keep up and did great! For the recital, her class did a jazz number to Dancing in the Street.
I'm so glad that I took a few minutes to snap these shots of Grace the night of the dress rehearsal because the day of the actual recital she was not feeling 100%. She was a trooper though and danced beautifully!
Goodness, this is like looking 10 years into the future...her own pose. *I think we're in trouble.*
Grace, I love that you give it your all when you're dancing. We love to watch you doing what you love on that stage.
Grace and Savannah...best friends!
Little brother had to {reluctantly} squeeze in for at least one pic!!
With her fan club :)
Through the years...
Keep that light shining bright within, my sweet girl!
Dear Grace,
Congratulations on completing your third year of dance.
We are SO proud of you!
XOXO,
Mama, Daddy and Hudson

WoW!! She does look grown up! I just realized I did not take any pictures of my littlest at her dance recital last weekend by herself. I love how you put all the years together. I think we might have to put the tutu back on just for a photo. I also adored your sailing into first!! So many fun ideas to copy. As always so glad you share!! Your teacher appreciation ideas helped me tons!! Can't believe the school year is done... Excited to see your summer fun!
She is a fierce little sweetheart! I love the sass and poise, but the same sweet face you can't miss. I am thinking some dance video clips are in order. ;)
Love the poses!! Such sweet pictures.
Boy, what a difference in 2 years! She's got a little more "sassy" in her now. :0) She's adorable.
I took ballet & tap when I was little. I was forever jumping around & falling & I always had bruises on my knees & legs. I didn't wear hosiery with my tu-tu so my poor mother was always trying to cover my legs with make-up to hide the bruises.
Loved the end of the school year party you guys had!
Beautiful pictures...and great documentation of her growing up!
Grace: you did awesome in your dance recital performance!
I love seeing you smile and enjoying every minute while you are dancing! You have the rhythm, girl!!!!
Love, Noonie
