Oh dear! Yes, totally in character!
She had the most wonderful kindergarten year in the Whale Tank as her teacher so affectionately calls their classroom...
{he he he...I love that her preschool pal Layla was sneaking in the background!!}
Hi, Mama! Hi, Daddy!
Yesterday was the little pumpkin's end-of-the-year program...she was soooo excited!!
Welcome, Welcome Everyone...
Oh, they were too cute with all their songs and skits!
This little number was sumthin' else!!
They read some of their favorite kindergarten memories and talked about the things they'll miss next year when they're BIG first graders...oh, and then the tears started for me...
They recited a sweet little poem...
And by the time they sang their sweet "Goodbye" song, I was a hot mess...
Sweet Savannah...it's been too cute to see Grace and Savannah become best friends!
At the end when her teacher read a farewell poem to us parents, there was hardly a dry eye in the house! Ms. V is as sweet as they come - LOVE her! Grace has been blessed with amazing teachers thus far - what an answered prayer!!
Girls, Girls, Girls!
BFF's...
A year full of sweet memories...
...and hard work too! Her school follows a pretty tough curriculum. These littles work hard all day long! We're very proud of you, Grace!
Our baby girl is growing up!! Can't believe we have an almost FIRST grader!
Kindergarten...a Year to Remember!
Thank you, Ms. V!

Oh my sweet Grace: you have grown so much and learned so much during this your kindergarten year! I'm very proud of you and all your achievements. And tonight when we were having supper and I explained to you what a spelling bee is, you amazed me by how quickly you got it and started spelling the words I told you. On top of that you showed me how you can add big numbers in your head. Wow! At this rate soon you will be teaching me some new things! God has blessed you in many ways and I know that He has great plans for you.
I love you with all my heart.
