Of course, no trip can be without its own set of mishaps, so here's how our adventure started on Tuesday, July 23rd...
"Jessica - wake up. It's almost 5 o'clock. You guys are gonna miss your plane."
Yep, that was Lance. It seems I somehow slept through my alarm. In fact, we were all happily snoozing away and it was now 4:52 a.m................... we needed to leave at 5:00 a.m. to get to the airport on time. I was even supposed to pick up Noonie on the way. Thank goodness she was ready and was able to come to our house instead.
So in those glorious 8 minutes, we got 3 people ready and we left at 5:10 a.m. - only 10 minutes late - thanks to an awesome hubby/daddy who helped me get the littles ready while I stumbled around stuffing things in suitcases like a crazy woman. But we made it!!
Of course, it wouldn't be a vacation if we didn't have a couple of these...
We had a little delay in Memphis, but we were FINALLY on our way, feeling Disney euphoric and all...
We made it to {Disney's Boardwalk} resort and it was sooo pretty!
They greeted us with balloons in honor of Hudson's birthday which we were celebrating, even if it was a bit late. And I couldn't help but get all choked up when I told them we were celebrating something else...Noonie being 6 months cancer free!!! We serve a mighty Lord!
The Boardwalk reminded me a bit of old-timey Atlantic City - LOVE! We checked out some of the shoppes, had a bite to eat...
...and then made our way to the Magic Kingdom, of course!
First ride...the spinning teacups!!!! It's a tradition now!
Next up...Dumbo!
A little someone loves Dumbo almost as much as I do...
The Barnstormer!
By this point the littles were starting to feel/act like this...
So we sugared them up and kept going - ha!
You mean you don't eat your snacks and drink your drinks like this???!?
It's a Small World!! Another favorite!
LOVE this girl!!!
This has to be the prettiest ride at Disney!!
The week we went to Disney last November was the same week they opened the new Fantasyland, so we only got to do a couple of the rides. This time we were super excited to check it all out! Can't wait to come back and see the all the new areas they are still working on!!
Ariel is Grace's favorite princess so Journey of the Little Mermaid was our first stop!
What a super
When we got back to our hotel, we had a very special surprise...MICKEY MAIL!!
That Mickey is as sneaky as they come! How did he know the littles needed "Disney pajamas"????!!!?
A fun surprise at our hotel...fireworks every night! I never could tell exactly where they were setting them off from but we could see them every night from our balcony...Hudson LOVED the fireworks!
More soon!

What wonderful memories you're making! We stayed at the Boardwalk this past April. Such an incredible spot! We watched the Epcot fireworks right from our balconies each night and loved the old-timey feel of the place. So fun to see those familiar spaces again.
